The East African Community Competition Authority has become aware, through an urgent public health alert issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya on 25th April 2025, that falsified and substandard batches of Paracetamol injections and Augmentin antibiotics have been discovered and recalled from the Kenyan market.
